Let's Talk About What I've Been Up To

Hey y’all, I know I haven’t been posting a lot lately so I wanted to tell you a couple things I’ve been up to. First let me say I’m almost to the end of the first year of my program, City Connections. I’ve learned and experienced so much this year. As far as my career path, I’m still exploring, but I hope to do something meaningful. I’d like to show that people living with a physical disability (or any disability really) can still have meaning to this world. On that note, in

The Final Game

Well today is the last day of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month and cheer season is officially over. But I will always remember all the memories I made. One of the moments that sticks out to me is when the football team won the state championship at Hershey. My parents and I travelled to Hershey with the cheerleading team to cheer them on! Champions

This weekend my high school's football team went to the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) championship. They were undefeated, and ready to win! The event took place at Heinz field; it was really cool to be down on the famous field. Our game was the only game it didn’t really rain for so my wheelchair didn’t get that wet, thank goodness. My mom was on the field with me to help if I needed it. We won the game!! We are now 6A champs and ready to go on

The goal is to help disabled kids make friends and to make sure that everyone is included and gets to experience typical t

Cheerleading

Well last week was a very tiring and exciting week for me. I tried out for cheerleading and I made it - on Varsity! My two friends were on the team together last year, and for this year they wanted me to be on the team with them since it is our senior year. The tryouts were 2 hours after school for a whole week, and only one of my friends had to try out with me since the other one was already on the Varsity Squad. We had to learn a dance and cheer to show to the judges at the
