Last week I went to the Woodland’s Music Camp again.
Everyday we had three classes: band, choir, and music appreciation. In choir and band we played instruments and sang, but in music appreciation we listened to all kinds of music.
But the most exciting thing I got to do this year is write a song with the help of some of my teachers! They took some of my poems and put them together to make a single song. The guy who wrote the music was the director of the Pittsburgh symphony and the lady who sang it teaches music at Carnegie Mellon.
I’m so happy I got this opportunity!
